Isabella goes to camp!

Isabella is at Year 4 Camp for two nights and 3 days. She was so excited to spend this time with all the other girls in Year 4. Mom & Dad are missing her - and we are surprised at how much easier life is with one less child, and she is our easy one! We miss our Sweet Belle and are looking forward to Friday afternoon when she is safely home again!

Isabella has the bright pink beanie on and is in front of the tree peeking out from between her two friends Lola & Jax.

A Great Rugby Season.

Jonah's last Rugby game was on Saturday - he had a great season! Jonah was on the second team and scored 2 tries (kind of like touchdowns) this year. Most of the boys play on private teams also, so for Jonah to do this well is a great accomplishment. Rugby is a really fun sport! All the boys are running most of the game so it is a bit like soccer, except that there is tackling which is of course the reason Jonah enjoys it so much! Gotta love these Aussie sports :)
Jonah has a bit of a battle wound from someone's cleat going into his eye, he already had a bruised toe from the week before . . . what is a great season of rugby without a few good injuries? :)

sick & sicker . . . .

The girls spent some quality time together this week as Isabella was home with tonsilitis - and Tia is taking antibiotics for some unknown infection that causes acute crabbiness :)

Happy Birthday Annie!

So Very LOVED! I'm sorry we couldn't celebrate with you - I hope you had a wonderful day!

They call it a fete'!

Elijah models his face painting :)
Elijah and the "chocolate wheel"

Elijah's preschool had their "fete'" (prounounced "fate")today - basically it's the school fair. There was a jumping castle and a petting zoo. They had "showbags" (do they have those in the US? you pay $$ and get a bag full of junk- oops I meant small toys and lollies and chocolates). There was also tombola (like fishing and you get a prize) . . . and a chocolate wheel. We bought 3 tickets for $5 at the chocolate wheel and we won! I didn't see any chocolate, however there were a lot of prizes and we got to choose whichever we wanted. We chose 5 sessions to Pandaplay which is a kids gymnastics/music class - just what Tia needed right now so we were thrilled :) Elijah helps Tia through the Jumping Castle

We all enjoyed a fun day and the weather was beautiful! Sometimes we have to remind ourselves it is winter here! (other times we don't!) Today was sunny and 66 degrees.
