My Mom, sister & niece are visiting us from the US. Because the whales are migrating along the Eastern Coast we decided to go whale watching. We were really excited about our Great Whale-watching Adventure . . . . . we left from Sydney Harbour and we did get to see a pod of whales up close. Unfortunately that was AFTER we were seasick for the first 3 hours of the adventure. The first photo was actually taken after we got off the boat - please note Isabella's reenactment of seasickness using the provided white bag :(
We were so thankful we did get to see the whales . . . and they really did come close to the boat - very cool and can you imagine going through all that and NOT seeing whales??? I felt especially sorry for Tia and Elijah because they didn't actually care much about seeing the whales! The 3 big kids came up with some alternate names for our fun time, here are a few of our favorites: Vomit Voyage, Barf Boat 2008, Barf Bunch, Pukes & Flukes and Barf on Board. As you can tell they don't actually plan to go again anytime soon! (Isabella actually said it was the worst day of her life :)
