NZ Cruise Day 9 - Christchurch
Somewhere in the middle of the south island, on the east side is Christchurch. What a beautiful little city! We enjoyed riding a gondola up the mountain for a beautiful view of the city and the coast. We then walked around Christchurch, took the trolley and went punting on the Avon river. It was a really enjoyable day.
NZ Cruise Day 8 - Dunedin
It was rainy the day we visited Dunedin, a city on the southeast side of New Zealand. There were some beautiful buildings (you know the kids love looking at those!)
The trip to the Cadbury factory rates high on their list of favorites from the trip.
It is not often you see an Asian Santa - the Bigs got quite a kick out of him!

NZ Days 2,5&6 - at sea
We spent 5 days at Sea during our 14 day Cruise - The kids loved these days the best! We slept in (well at least one or two of us would!) We ate breakfast at the Cafe and then the kids would go to Kids Club.
Lunch was spent at the pool and the kids just ordered cheeseburgers, or helped themselves to pizza or nachos. Each of the 3 older children had a soda card and they could just order a soda when they wanted. 
Honestly they enjoyed the independence almost more than anything we did over the 2 weeks.
