Tuesday morning we woke up to what was basically the first normal day of the Easter Break. The kids have 2.5 weeks off and they were looking forward to some R&R. I told them they could watch TV until 9 am and then it would be switched off until the evening. From 9-10 they played with each other and then they started asking to go to the beach. Jelly Blubber Beach as they named the beach we had been to on Saturday for the Easter Egg Hunt. They had caught some blubbery jelly fish there and were antsy to catch some more. By 11 we were in the car with lunch packed, towels, shovels, pails, sunscreen . . . all the necessities for a day that would be spent in the sun, water and sand. We had a wonderful 4 hours - one of those days that makes us wonder if and how we will ever acclimate to a lifestyle that doesn't include spontaneous trips to the beach.
